South By Southwest 2019 reached new heights for the festival in attendance and prestige. Bell + Ivy had the privilege of being a part of the madness in their own unique way by hosting an event with fireside chats, panels, mixing and mingling and plenty to drink and eat.

The panels included top entertainment and gaming executives from the largest media corporations, VC funds, and major gaming networks such as Fast Company, Dreamworks, Barclays, and more. The discussions revolved around the latest trends in investing in media entertainment and branded content.

Among the prestigious lineup of speakers was Bruce Daitch (former CFO at DreamWorks & Consultant at Riot Games), Vinay Singh (Partner at Archer Gray), Yael Swerdlow (CEO and Founder of Maestro Games), Damian Slattery (VP of Marketing at Fast Company), Prince Vaughn (VP of Development at UnRealistic Ideas & Casting), Derek Riedle (Founder & CEO of Civilized) Duncan Montgomery (Producer), Larry Weinberg (Entertainment Attorney) and our very own Eden Weinberg (Creative Marketing Manager at Bell + Ivy).

The festivities were sponsored by Beyond Meat, Rebel Coast, Civilized, Frankly Organic Vodka, and Buzzn.

With over a hundred in attendance in the event space adjacent to Austin’s hip 6th street, the symposium proved fruitful in educating and connecting creative and entrepreneurial people.
